Let’s shape the future together!
Johnny from Explosive Brands talks to Dik Barton, a true pioneer in the field of Health, Safety & Security and COO of ArmaTrex Limited.
From Dik’s beginnings as a commercial diver, transitioning into the military, to coordinating dives to the Titanic wreck – his story is a testament to perseverance and innovation.
In this episode, Dik opens up about his groundbreaking work in the medical responder and rescue industry, highlighting two of his most revolutionary creations: A foam-based splint designed for immobilising limb injuries in the most extreme conditions and a lightweight, portable stretcher perfect for challenging environments like war zones and remote locations.
These innovations are already making a significant impact across the globe, including in Ukraine and Africa, and have vast potential for both military and civilian applications.
We explore the development process behind these devices, from their initial prototypes to incorporating advanced materials and cutting-edge technology – such as drones for rescue missions.
Tune in to discover how Dik Barton’s relentless pursuit of problem-solving is shaping the future of emergency medical response.

ArmaTrex Distributors Programme
ArmaTrex is looking to establish a global distributor programme, as an intermediary entity between ArmaTrex, as the product designer and manufacturer, and a downstream entity in the distribution channel or supply chain.
The distributor is an integral part to our supply chain component, acting as an intermediary between the manufacturer and the downstream entity, to bridge the gap between upstream and downstream entities while adding important services that help smooth the distribution process.
As a distributor, operating within a defined geographical territory, you will serve as an agent that enters into an agreement with ArmaTrex as the manufacturer, to sell its products to both retailers and clients and end users.
